Just a quick note to say; Merry Christmas, everybody!

Not sure how many of you readers are already aware of this, but when you zoom in on part of a fractal, the rendering time sky-rockets.  Why do I bring this up?  Because the fractal that I started this morning is STILL rendering over 12 hours later, and isn't even half-way finished yet. Sigh.  I'll post it as soon as I can, but there's a strong possibility that this may interfere with my schedule.

Hi all,  For those who are wondering (all of two of you), I'm thinking of doing another Fractal Advent Calendar this year.  I've regretted not doing one the past two years, but with my health going to hell, living in near-constant pain, and other unexpected life events, I honestly was in no position to make and post anything, much less something every day.    Anyway, I'm seriously considering making an attempt this year.  Unfortunately, I doubt that there would be enough time to read and experiment with new techniques as I would like, but you never know.  I'm currently trying to create and render some fractals ahead of time so that I'll ha
